Since the site was down for a few minutes today (and does from time to time) it got me thinking.

When it happens, does life as we sports journalists know it simply stop?

What do people do to pass the time?

Internet porn.

Well, that's what I've been told other people do. But I'd never do that.

I just click refresh until it's back. Usually takes less than 5,000 clicks.

I've heard about this Internet porn?
Apparently you can view naked people on the web?
Interesting!

Saved by the Bell reruns, just like they do during baseball rain delays on TNT

I actually got my kitchen clean when this site was down this morning. Now, if I were productive EVERY time this site went down, I might get more packed for my move in 24 days.

Me, Norm and Cliff just pass the time at Gary's Old Towne Tavern until things re-open.

With apologies to Triumph (the band, not the insult comic dog)....

When the site goes DOWWWWWNNNNN
We're ready to sing the blues
When the site goes DOWWWWNNNNNN
We're ready to pay
Ready to pay
Ready to pay Webby some duuuuuuuesssssss...

Crap, why I am apologizing to Triumph? This song sucks.

We polish up our resumes, then address the resume/portfolio package to:
