I still think one of the best "gamers" I've ever read was written a few years back by Chuck Culpepper, about the Westminster Dog Show. As usual, he had incredible detail and anecdotes.

Yes. I believe she was having problems with her PMs under her old name.

I'm surprised anyone is putting it in sports, based on past experiences.

None of the papers, none, that I've seen ever have put it in sports.

Of course, my geographical bias may be showing, too.

Yes. I believe she was having problems with her PMs under her old name.

So she used all of her creative abilities to come up with a new handle and not lose her identity.

Under imjustagirl, whenever I would send a PM, it took about 5 minutes. I'd send it, it would lock up, I'd have to close out my browser, reopen it, log out, close it, reopen it, log in, close it, reopen it, go to a different board and then open my PMs again (because the person would have responded by then).

Webby spent several days looking at the problem, and thought the server reboot might help. It didn't. So he told me last week I'd need to just open a new account. So today, I did. And my PMs work as planned. Which is nice.

But yes...it's still me.

It's my new outlook. I'm trying it in real life, and I figured I'd try it here.

Sadly, one thread has sent me back over the edge. However, we all have setbacks...I'm still working toward the positive!

We ran it in sports. I realize it's hypocritical of me, since there are all kinds of things I won't run in the sports section. This is my one weakness. Sue me.

Of course, I say **** that on other things, but I love me some doggies.

Friend of mine spent a ridicustupid amount of money on the pick of a litter of 6. The pup takes obedience classes......the whole shpiel.

Gimme a big, fat OE whose nuts almost drag the ground any old day.

We were watching last night. During the herding class, my dog came in and stared at the television, wagging her tail.

Then I made the mistake on commenting how cute I thought one of the dogs was.

She slinked over to me, pressed herself as flat to the floor as she could, then snuggled up next to me.

I kept telling her over and over if they had a mixed breed class, she'd win, but I don't think she's buying it.

i was covering Millrose track one year and the dog show was starting i guess the next day because in a giant room off the basement of the garden there were 5,000 barking dogs. the problem was, that was also serving as the mix zone, where we got athletes after their races. i'm sitting in the press room later writing and the guy next to me is transcribing and all he hears on his tape recorder is "arf arf arf i got a good start yap yap yap i got out quick bark bark bark i felt strong as the race went on ruff ruff ruff," etc.

my aunt breeds bullmastiffs, but you can't beat a bully.

and they always get dissed in these events. seriously, the bulldog should win every damn dog show ever. it's not even close.
