Back when we were dating I got to introduce my wife to the glory of Dr. Gene Scott. Turned on the TV and he was just glaring at the camera, refusing to go to "the table of the Lord" until the contributions reached an acceptable level. He did it for about an hour.So bat****...he was the greatest. He would threaten the viewers with "no more music, no more entertainment" if the money wasn't coming in.
Robin Williams once did a killer impression of him on SNL. "I shall now compare... and contrast... Jesus Christ.... and Spider-Man." I figured I was one of about five people who would know who he was doing.
