Help!

Just spent an hour in various Twitter help sites and I can't find the answer to a very basic problem.

Just updated to an iPhone 4S...I use the basic Twitter app (prefer it to Tweetdeck) but when I go to the home page, all i see is the notice "protected tweets" and it won't let me do anything.

Suggestions?
