After coming down with a crummy stomach virus, and sleeping most of yesterday away, I'm spending today slowly returning to the world of the living. My random observations:
Being sick sucks. Especially when the 'to-do' list is a mile long.
The phone rings more and more the worse you feel.
Thank goodness for Diet 7-Up. (I gag on sugar pop).
There are way, way too many prescription medicine commercials on TV.
How come the foreclosed houses commercial always advertises that those whose last names begin with A-K (or whatever letter it is) may begin calling today, the last half of the alphabet may begin calling tomorrow, but then they run the same commercial the next day. Why are they discriminating against the last half of the alphabet? Why can't they ever call that number?
This is one of those times when working from home actually has a big advantage.
Thank goodness for laptop computers.
