You guys honestly didn't know that Dyepack is Polo?

With all the unprovoked asshole-ish outbursts, how could you miss it?

Well, he isn't exactly alone in that regard.

And polo liked to take shots at sports writers stuffing their faces in press boxes, etc.

DyePack specializes in designer flambe.

Excellent point, but it's the general attitude that shines through, that of a sour old man who hates the world. He just picked a different target so some would believe he was someone new.

And Ace, there have only been "two" with consistent, unending assholish outbursts.

Keep it up, shot, and there might be three. ;)

All right. If that's an assholish outburst, there's more than three.

Terrific cast. Probably have to see it without JR though. ::)

That's all fine, but I'm talking about the actual greenlighting of this film, which had to occur before Reeves and Bullock were issued contracts. Yeah, they could've agreed to do it, which would've made it a bit more attactive, but still, Christ, somebody felt good enough about this script to give somebody the OK to set up production.

And for the record, The Lake House makes Speed look like an Oscar winner.

I can see The Lake House poster and commercial now...

Reeves and Bullock make this movie "look like an Oscar winner" declares dog428!

Or maybe, "The best movie of 2004 set in 2006." Or is it the best movie of 2006 set in 2004?

Oh, Modaho, DO let this go on. It's uncovering an important truth.

The only important truth that's being uncovered is that you are the duke of douchebaggery.

But that was out in the open some time ago.

No he's not. He's the Sultan of Shot.

You should be. It's a very decent movie.

Oh, you've seen it?! Question - Do you think I should read the book before I see it or not?

This thread is hilarious. I wouldn't dream of seeing the movie - ever since I watched "Sweet November" - another keanu romantic venture - I've been wary of mr. reeves' romantic flicks. Good heavens that movie was awful. Stupid plot, vapid acting, predictable ending.

I thought he was fine in the replacements & in Something's gotta give, though it was nicholson-keaton that made that movie. I also liked Speed. But Sweet November sure sucked.

He was really good in The Gift, the third best part of that movie if you know what I'm saying :o, which leads me to believe doesn't even try most of the time.

have you forgotten the first Matrix? Or did the sequels ruin it for you?
I thought the Replacements was good and Point Break wasn't terrible.
I wish the boy named canoe's character in the Replacements had been Johnny Utah, but that's just me.

katie holmes is a nice, respectable, wholesome girl... and I'm gonna see her boobs.

this movie makes no sense. she's possessed, she's not possessed... that rack had better be stacked. OH! TITS! those aren't real. yes, they are!
