No, you have the story a little off. Zack and Slater got in a fight with each other because Slater was jealous that Zack was developing feelings for Renfro after he watched "The Client." Apparently, Zack told Slater "Brad Renfro was good in 'The Client.'" And Slater saw a twinkle in Zack's eyes, became insanely jealous and took pretty boy down. Need proof? Here it is:

If that's something they wanted to explore -- and if NBC would let them -- good for them. I'd be happy for them. But all that was there was frustration from vying after the same woman, Joanna Peterson. After three years of going after the same girls, it was finally enough. That is, of course, until Belding's stupid wig fell into the punch bowl.

I'd just like to again point out that I have had drinks with Belding. I try to mention this on every SBTB thread. What a crazy old ****er that guy is. He talked about getting laid in Las Vegas ("if you can't ged laid in Vegas, you just can't get laid") and how no one was shocked when they saw who was in Showgirls.
