"The Cell" alert

One of the most visually stunning movies I've ever seen - on USA on the West coast right now.

Kind of a whacked out plot - a very very whacked out plot.

But absolutely breathtaking photography.

Tarsem is a GENIUS.

I think this should be classified as more of a warning than an alert.

It's pretty, I'll give you that, but it's a horrible film.

I agree about the movie in terms of its plot, dialogue and story.
But it is an incredible piece of artwork.

I saw that movie...and within about 30 minutes I had a pounding headache. It was there STRICTLY to be beautiful and vibrant, which it was, but what a completely ****ty, horrible, terrible, confusing piece of crap movie.

The Cell? I love this scene ...

"Now this is something the other tour guides won't tell you. In this particular cell-block, Machine Gun Kelly had what we call in the prison system, a "*****". And one night in a jealous rage Kelly took a make-shift knife or "shiv", and cut out the *****'s eyes. And as if this wasn't enough retribution for Kelly, the next day he and four other inmates took turns pissing into the *****'s ocular cavities.

This way to the cafeteria!"

That, and "pretty movie, no plot." But superior, of course.

That's kinda what I figured. I'd watch Fantasia again, too.

And I'd watch the cell again before both No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood.
