Whitlock, much respect from this BSU grad for wearing the throwback. Didn't see it, but just knowing you wore it is pretty cool.

That said, Bernie Parmalee is nice and all, but you should have gone with a Dave or Eugene Riley jersey. Or if you wanted to represent a later period, Raphael or Rapheol Ball.

Ball State throwbacks I own: Tim Walton, Bernie Parmalee, Brian Outlaw, Ralph Wize, Todd Finnell, Frank Barnes and my own.... going to add: David Riley, Blaine Bishop, Greg Garnica, Mose Carter, Andy Engeman.

Geno Riley played terribly in games against Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan, the year we should've won the MAC...1988.

Greg Garnica! Holy ****, that's a name I haven't heard in ages.

I lived on the same floor as Brian Hanley, who blocked for Parmalee and later Corey Croom shortly after you. Great guy.

Even though he came later, you should spare some throwback love for brief NFL'er Michael Blair, a fellow J-school grad, and photojournalism struggler with yours truly.

Damn, I need to read my alumni magazine more often, I didn't know you could even get Ball State throwbacks. Where in the hell can you get those?

If I wouldn't look totally ridiculous wearing one, I'd get a Paris McCurdy or Chandler Thompson basketball throwback in a heartbeat.

Sorry, but if he's got to wear a Ball U hoops jersey (and that's just not right), it needs to be a Ray McCallum jersey...
And you're right. You would look that way... but no worse than Wilbon in that lime green thing

Ray McCallum? Hell with that, McCallum was a guard. Whitlock strikes me more as a Curtis Kidd or Bill Gillis man.

True Bubs, but McCurdy and Thompson were more -- Idunno -- Screamin A or Scoop..... especially McCurdy...
If not McCallum, then John Williams...

Bubs,

you can't order 'em. i have a company in kc make them for me. i gave them my old jersey and they made a replica for me..... i still run with paris mccurdy, chandler thompson, keith stalling, curtis kidd...i might get some hoops jerseys made.... i'm hoping those guys are coming up to muncie this weekend for our big victory over indiana. a lot of the old-school football players are coming up.

Give the Hoosiers hell from me, I'll be keeping tabs from afar.
