That said, Bernie Parmalee is nice and all, but you should have gone with a Dave or Eugene Riley jersey. Or if you wanted to represent a later period, Raphael or Rapheol Ball.
Ball State throwbacks I own: Tim Walton, Bernie Parmalee, Brian Outlaw, Ralph Wize, Todd Finnell, Frank Barnes and my own.... going to add: David Riley, Blaine Bishop, Greg Garnica, Mose Carter, Andy Engeman.
Geno Riley played terribly in games against Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan, the year we should've won the MAC...1988.
Greg Garnica! Holy ****, that's a name I haven't heard in ages.
I lived on the same floor as Brian Hanley, who blocked for Parmalee and later Corey Croom shortly after you. Great guy.
Even though he came later, you should spare some throwback love for brief NFL'er Michael Blair, a fellow J-school grad, and photojournalism struggler with yours truly.
Damn, I need to read my alumni magazine more often, I didn't know you could even get Ball State throwbacks. Where in the hell can you get those?
If I wouldn't look totally ridiculous wearing one, I'd get a Paris McCurdy or Chandler Thompson basketball throwback in a heartbeat.
