This fall, under CEO and former Giants linebacker Carl Banks.

Loved these things when I was a kid. I definitely had one of these:

We'll see.

The real Starter was a New Haven company started by a Southern Connecticut athlete that produced great quality product for more than a decade before going public and getting in over its head in the early '90s. Now it's just another brand in the G-III Apparel Group, which also has licenses with Calvin Klein, Sean John , Kenneth Cole , Cole Haan , Guess?, Jones New York, Jessica Simpson , Vince Camuto , Ivanka Trump , Nine West, Ellen Tracy , Tommy Hilfiger , Kensie, Mac & Jac, Levi's and Dockers, according to the press release.

Shell of its former self is my guess. Too bad.

Still got one of these babies, no idea if it still fits....

Still have mine of the other major sports team in Charlotte. Too bad it doesn't get chilly enough where I have the opportunity to wear it much. Very, very warm ...

Every time I see someone still wearing one (egad!) I remember the line, why do you want to be a member of club that you are the Only Member of?

Before his morphing into Darth Hoodie, Mumbles was quite stylish.

This is what he does for Starter. He continues to show his loyalty - you know, because the NFL will fine you for wearing the wrong brand, even coaches - by sawing the sleeves off of gray Reebok and Nike hoodies.

I could have sworn the Pats had a presser this year where Belichick was wearing the old Reebok sweatshirt even though the NFL has switched over to Nike.

Does he look like Lee Majors in that pic? Just me?

The answer to the question in this ad is "Get the hell out of Cleveland"

Funny. Not true. The dead asshole never ****s up his finances and investments and bails himself out by bailing out on Cleveland, and Belichick and his crew of rising stars wins at least one Super Bowl on the shores of Lake Erie. If the dead asshole is voted into the Hall of Fame, I'll go and spit on his bust.

I was 11 when news broke the team was on the way out, most important age for sports fandom. Not bitter. Not at all.

EDIT: Also, I owned a half-zip Magic Starter in 1992 and a front-snap Indians dugout Starter in 1997. Wore them until I rubbed the elbows bare.

Maybe they can bring back DJ Jazzy Jeff to do the commercials. It's not like he's doing anything these days:

At least you got a team back.

Sundays from September to January are lonely for long-ago LOS ANGELES Rams diehards.
