Somebody keyed my car

First time in my life.
I had hubcaps stolen many years ago when I was a young reporter.
What can I say. The old Fart would have been persuaded to go all Encyclopedia Brown on the perp, but now I mostly don't care about the ****wad who did it - I just want it repaired ASAP.
I am angry about it, but most of all just stunned by the utter chicken****tery it takes to pull such an act, how small you need to be inside to do it. I have done some bad stuff in my life from time to time, but this never crossed my mind.
Anyone have any advice for resolving this?
