Barry Bonds is much skinnier now than in his later playing days, more resembling the svelte slugger of his Pittsburgh Pirates days than the bulging beast of his SF Giants days. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with him no longer needing to cycle steroids since he's no longer an MLB player. Nah, he's clean. Always was...

In fairness, I think that the argument has advanced from, "Did he do it?" to "Do we care?"

Yep. And every fan base that had a good laugh at Bonds' and the Giants' denial has subsequently gotten to confront its own feelings. Kind of funny to look back on the indignation of Milwaukee fans in particular, who felt they were protecting Hank Aaron's good name.
