If this movie sucks, it might be the biggest letdown this board has ever suffered.

Well, the thing is, the movie is going to suck. They made it like a serious horror film.

If they had made it a spoof, a la "Hot Shots" or "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," then it would live up to the hype. Cult classic, baby.

Instead, they want it to be scary -- which it won't be. But to solve this dilemma, I'm going to take a mini-poster in with me to the theatre and then get kicked out for laughing too hard. Whenever the movie starts to suck, I'm going to look at the poster again. And I'll crack up. ;D

Doc definitely sent me one of these today.  I sat in the office laughing while the assistant city editor just stared at me.  When I told her what it was, she couldn't quit laughing because we spent an entire afternoon last week talking bout how horrible this movie is going to be and she thought it would actually be scary.
