My answer would definitely be yes if the question were about somebody who is involved with this thread but is not Roy Hibbert.

Yes. Jeremy Clements was suspended in NASCAR. This is the same. Suspend him for Game 7. Clear message that this is no longer acceptable rhetoric.

Hell, it's not like Vogel will have him on the floor for key moments anyway!

The NBA conspiracy freaks would be in a frenzy over Heat preferential treatment if they suspended Hibbert from Game 7 after not suspending D-Wade for the flying elbow to Stephensen's head in Game 2, and not ejecting Birdman from Game 5.

Then you better investigate whether to suspend George as well.

Stern needs to send a message to its members that homophobia is not OK.

OK, looked it up. Kobe was fined $100,000 (no suspension) for mouthing word "faggot" to a ref.

If that is the precedent, then the answer to your question is a resounding no.

I think that times have changed. Sensitivity on this issue has changed. The NBA was wrong to only fine Kobe and Joakim Noah. It doesn't have to keep repeating the mistake.

I can't think of any conceivable reason that he should not be suspended.

He said it because of his religion, ****. So he good.

(OK I'm going to check back in 27 pages.)

Well, in your opinion the league was wrong to only fine those individuals. Fortunately you don't run the league.

But I'll ask again. You going to suspend Paul George, too?

Why shouldn't Hibbert be suspended?

Why should he be suspended? And what about George?

Why shouldn't Hibbert be suspended?

Why should he be suspended?

Because he used a gay slur.

Oh, for crying out loud.

I usually find your comments amusing. This instance is not one of those times. And what about George?
