I'm looking for the thread about the college basketball coach that started a finishing school of sorts for his players, some of whom were so lacking in life skills they couldn't cut their own meat during meals. Anybody remember who that coach was or which school was referenced? My attempts to find it through the search function have been fruitless, and it's bugging me.

Thanks,

NW

Might it have been addressed in a running college basketball thread?

And how long ago are we talking?

Probably 2-3 years ago. I guess it's possible it was on a running BKC thread, but that's not one I frequent often if at all.

ask vers. he will have this thread back to life in mere moments.

Sounds like you need to learn the life skill of using search function.

I remember the thread. I'm pretty sure it got locked because it became a
knock down drag out political discussion.

And in other breaking news, the sun rose in the east this morning.

Boom, I've been around here long enough to know to try that first. I didn't try the shortest shortcut (which was to go directly to appeal to the board mode). But I was not willing to wade through all of my 8k posts to find it, either. Maybe my search criteria skills could stand improving, but I came up with nothing that got me where I wanted to go. But thanks for your input.

I found the link for the thread and will sell it to you for $100. I accept Pay Pal

How old is the thread? Who started the thread? With this information, there's no way to find it.
