2026 Fantasy Baseball Running Thread

I just realized we didn't have one of these for the 2026 season.

I wanted to bring up the subject of owning the same player on multiple teams. It can be great when they are going well, but it's can also be brutal when something goes wrong. Drake Baldwin has given me a bit of both this season. I kept him in all three of my leagues for this year. He was arguably the main reason that I'm in first place in two leagues and second place in another.

I just saw that he went on the IL today with an oblique strain. Catcher is thoroughly picked over in all of my leagues, and I just lost my best bat. The worst is the Addicts league I run here. I'm now up to eight players on the IL. We only have five IL spots. This is after cutting one injured player yesterday. I'm not sure which one I could cut out of the following: Roman Anthony, Jose Altuve, Hunter Greene, Jared Jones, Tarik Skubal, Max Fried, and Kris Bubic.

Right now, I have four catchers, two of them on the DL, and the guy I drafted has already been cut because he was sent down to the minors.

I really love reading the fantasy advice columns on guys who are being ignored who should be picked up immediately. There will be a guy who is owned by 7 percent of the leagues, and when I check our league, someone has already picked him up.

I really love reading the fantasy advice columns on guys who are being ignored who should be picked up immediately. There will be a guy who is owned by 7 percent of the leagues, and when I check our league, someone has already picked him up.

Our league is pretty good in that regard, which makes it challenging to find help when you need it.
