I'd love to see a movie where we launch one of these probes to some distant planet, the thing is scanning around then all the sudden some "thing" comes up on it. Whether it knocks it totally off-line or suddenly takes it hostage and proceeds to communicate with us, threatens us or whatever - fascinating opening. "Life" found elsewhere, but is it good, does it provide hope or instill fear?
