More often than I'm wrong, but nobody's perfect. :)

At least I don't have my head up my ass, like some people whose posts I reply to.

Ouch stop it Lyman you're hurting me.

Come over to our side. We'll welcome you with open arms.

Nah, thanks for the kind offer. When the wheel turns back someday, I want to be in the right spot, no pun intended.

AP just called the race for Webb.

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Democrats wrested control of the Senate from Republicans Wednesday with an upset victory in Virginia, giving the party complete domination of Capitol Hill for the first time since 1994. Jim Webb's squeaker win over incumbent Sen. George Allen gave Democrats their 51st seat in the Senate, an astonishing turnabout at the hands of voters unhappy with Republican scandal and unabated violence in Iraq. Allen was the sixth Republican incumbent senator defeated in Tuesday's elections.

I'm pretty sure Webb just got in the race figuring it would help him sell some more novels. Now he's a U.S. Senator for the next six years.

The thing is.... how often will Webb vote with the Dems?

40 percent of the time?

Hey, if they can't win Virginia or Montana, then concede. Just sit back and see what happens. Let the next two years play out like normal.

Although, if Michigan's economy isn't any better by the end of next year, smart money is someone tries to start a "Recall Granholm" movement.

Let me ask a serious question to all the Republicans here:

Do you all actually think things could be worse with the Dems in control of Congress?

Look at the last six years, guys. You couldn't screw **** up any worse. It doesn't matter what the Dems do, it's going to be better, because damn near any other choices are better than the choices the Bush administration and GOP Congress have made the last six years.

When a six-year span rolls by and you can't point to a single achievement, don't you think it's time to fold up the tent and start heading back the other direction? Or are you so blinded by the fact that this guy has a little elephant beside his name that all the stupid, misguided, illegal and idiotic **** that he's done doesn't matter to you?

He has an elephant by his name? Wow. Forget everything I said before. Bush is God.
