I took Spartan Jr to that game. It was my first pro basketball game of any kind and his first live sporting event. It was such a great time.Valkyries flying under the radar while winning their ninth straight tonight.
Maybe Clark needs to sit down until she understands what a danger she is.Clark and Reese are tied for the league lead this season with 7 Ts apiece. One more merits a one-game suspension.

I mean, she can write it - many columnists ride their emotions to such a degree that they frequently arrive at intellectual dishonesty in ways far less ludicrous than what Armour wrote - but that's what editors are for.“I hurt some people’s feelings BUT I’M STILL RIGHT” is how that reads.
Here's a story running concurrent to Nancy Armour column.
In a big (and good) feature from ESPN Sophie Cunningham supported keeping transwomen/transgirls out of cisgirls sports.
She'll weigh in on how to "protect women's sports," she says, because she's in that world and feels qualified to speak to that world. "I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that,'" she says. "I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."
A former Indiana Fever teammate, Brianna Turner, responded to that story with this on X.
"To date there's been one out trans player in the league. They caused zero problems. An issue that has caused problems though? Last year on my WNBA team a male staff member was fired for sexual harassment, but we were encouraged to keep quiet about it. That is an issue."
Now, the two things have nothing to do with each other, but if that first sentence made you pause, the trans WNBA player in question was born a ciswoman and transitioned to nonbinary. Which...isn't exactly related to Cunningham's stance on biological men.
These are the dominant narratives going into the All-Star game.
About a week ago I was listening to VSIN, the sports gambling show. They were doing a segment on the WNBA season so far, what teams have done well, and what they are looking for in the second half of the season. One of the hosts was Doug Kazerian, who used to be on ESPN's Daily Wager show. They discussed what players are playing well, what players are coming back from injury, etc. Pure sports talk about the WNBA. Zero Alma-talk. It was ****ing tremendous. It takes a gambling show to get actual real sports talk about the WNBA.If all of my information about the WNBA came from Barstool tweets, I’m sure I’d find this deeply concerning.
As we used to say around here, this. Times eleventy!!
