Anyone else taking in the revival of The Skins Game on Prime this AM? (I only have it on as background noise, but that counts)
Yeah, I've had it on. I like the format that you lose money if you don't win skins.

Good for him.Colt Knost replaces Ian Baker-Finch in the CBS booth.

Hasn't Baker-Finch moved back to Australia? I heard him doing commentary on the Australian PGA one remote-clicking day.I like Colt enough, but I also like IB-F. I do not like IBS.
2028 Open Championship pushed to August to avoid conflict with the Olympics. Still no venue.

Never gonna happen. Even the guy proposing it admits it's a blue sky idea. No Hawaii? No Torrey Pines? That's just for openers.Just mindblowing to think of a PGA Tour schedule turning into this. Not saying it's all bad, I don't disagree with the scarcity argument (and being in golf media, sign me up for off weeks after majors), but telling a number of communities and sponsors that they're not in the Show anymore is not gonna be fun.

There’s going to be some eggs that are spilled and crushed and broken, but I think that in the end we’re going to have a product that is far better than what we have now, for everyone involved."Just mindblowing to think of a PGA Tour schedule turning into this. You want to whack the Palm Springs event that’s played on blah courses and everyone is shooting 61, I won’t complain. But the idea of creating a better product and putting Pebble, Riviera and Torrey Pines on the chopping block … jeez, you should just hire as decision-makers the good folks shoving college football off a cliff.Yeah, this has major issues. No Riviera or Torrey? Pebble in August is a no-go. The title sponsor of your (not)-season-long race for the championship gets noting in their hometown? This is a buzz cut, not a trim around the edges.
They need to get away from the playoffs. They won't, but start there.
And CBS/NBC have contracts for a certain number of tournaments so you'll have to rip those up.
