Won’t happen. There’s nobody to break a women’s hoops scandal story anymore. There are barely any journalists to break any story that requires digging anymore.

It still might. It depends on whether there was an actual family issue, something personal and not newsworthy, or if this was a "resigning to spend more time with my family" sort of deal with a scandal swept under the carpet that might blow up later.

Yes, there's Florida State football. Clemson football, too ... remember Danny Ford? Men's basketball in Chapel Hill and Raleigh and College Park.

But never had one school so spectacularly violated multiple rules in the ACC across the board until Louisville came along. All the schools you could have considered, Swofford, and you chose Louisville. Take a bow, sir. No, really.

OK. But look at a Virginia game. Then look at the crap Kelvin Sampson puts out there.

The Cavaliers aren't Showtime, but it's highly effective and a representation of the game. Sampson tries to turn it into football on hardwood. I mean, basketball IS a contact sport, but not to that degree. Never mind that Sampson got slapped with a multi-year show-cause.
