Not just in baseball -- in any sport, in the 130+ years of athletics.

Yeah, Mississippi State is in the same boat. Never a national team title.
That's why last year at Omaha was so urgent and special.

Virginia has won team titles in small sports such as rowing, tennis, lacrosse and a few others.
But apparently never in their athletics history have the Wahoos won a major sports title.

So this three-game set will be meaningful all around.

Those are small sports only if you don't play 'em or know anybody who does. They are NCAA titles.

Hey, I'm with ya, bro. Those are national championships won by hardworking, all-in groups of people. They bring glory to their schools with each championship. It's hard to win championships and they are cherished by all who manage to do it.

Not sure what the logic behind it was originially, but the "USA Uniforms" have been in their regular rotation all year. I think it's the Sunday outfit, and they've won some clinchers with it, so it's a bit of a good luck charm.
