First saw her in a 1973 show called "Steambath." Bill Bixby was the male star. She was the rage because of a topless scene in the steambath in which there were glorious side boob shots. She was a star back then. RIP to a women with a great attitude and looks to match.

There were a few actresses from that era who weren't what you'd call "sex symbols" but were so talented, funny etc. you almost didn't notice how attractive they were. Teri Garr, Bernadette Peters, Perrine, Melinda Dillon, - I know there are many more out there.

Thank you. That was the first thing I ever saw her in and I couldn’t remember the name.

I was trying to remember and then Steamroom popped into my brain. As I was reading the obit, it kept talking about her first jobs and never mentioned this show. Then I finally got around to checking IMDB.com and "Steambath" was listed. I remembered that the TV censors were all riled up over this, but it did make it on air.

I'd seen her in a lot of things, but for some reason, every time I heard her mentioned somewhere, I think of her cameo in "The Cannonball Run." Adrienne Barbeau and Tara Buckman spending the whole movie charming cops out of giving them a ticket, and then being pulled over one more time, and Barbeau unzipping her outfit halfway saying "I'll take care of this one," and she sees this:

"Well hello there Hotpants! I don't suppose you have a driver's license tucked down in there somewhere, do ya?"

Like the aforementioned Garr, Perrine worked with all sorts of top directors and actors and deserves to be better remembered. RIP.

Great pull. I'm dying to see Cannonball Run again but it's in digital rights hell, so never on streaming.

I remember that Steambath production on PBS. Bixby in purgatory, justifying his life to God, who doubles as the bath's Puerto Rican attendant. One of his justifications was his charity work with brain-damaged welders.

Public TV in the late '60s-early '70s shaped a lot of my world view.
