Uga VI died of heart failure Friday night. He'll be buried at Sanford Stadium on Monday.

From the story:
Seiler said Saturday that the "lineage is taken care of" and would be announced by Seilers and the UGA athletic association later.

Not sure what that means, but it sounds like they're ready for the next in line.

Indeed. That dog lives better than I ever will. Private plane ushers him from Savannah to Athens... air conditioned house, bag of ice to rest his boys on.

We, friends, should all be so fortunate. I guess god needed one hideous ****ing chut of a dog.

UGA VI had his nuts on ice about 16 hours of every day. i'm sure he sired quite a few little UGAs.

be interesting to see where they go w/r/t body type. there was a time when the UGAs were small and sleek; UGA VI was by far the biggest of the mascots.
