RIP
He was one of the few child actors who never went through an awkward stage. He was cool on episode 1, and cool on the last episode.

Beaver couldn't have been more awkward once puberty hit.

Oh, you want the Mr. Plow who plows driveways. This is Tony Plow. You know, from Leave It to Beaver. Yeah. They were gay.

Damn, such good memories. May he RIP.

In the summer, I watched Leave It to Beaver with my new puppy. It was the 70's so Dow was about 20 yrs older than me and about my age when he was on the show. I love LITB.

One of my fav LITB shows was when Beaver was supposed to get a haircut and spent the $$ on ice cream so Wally gives him the worst haircut imaginable and their scheme is that "the new club requires hats at all times." Then one night June and Ward take the beanies off and.... hilarious.

Our season tickets for 3 years during the Showtime Lakers were 5 or 6 seats away from his. Saw him at probably 100 games.

Talked briefly a few times. Nice easygoing guy.

There'll never be a Wally Beaver again even if they try.

One episode that I remember is one where a girl invites Beaver to her birthday party and Beaver accepts. Beaver then goes around to all of his friends, and finds out that he’s the only boy invited to the party.

Beav tries to get out of it, and tries to explain why, but Ward and June tell him that since he promised to go, he had to go.

Beaver heads to the party, then one of his friends drops by to see if he’s home, and tells the parents that Beaver was the only boy at the party. Ward and June start feeling ****ty about making him go.

Meanwhile at the party, Beav is predictably having a lousy time until the girl’s dad sees him bored, and invites him into his study, where he has a fancy gun collection (imagine this on a sitcom today). The Dad then proceeds to show a fascinated Beaver his guns.

Beav comes home, and Ward and June are all worried that he’ll be pissed at them for making him go to the party, but Beaver says he enjoyed himself because of the dad and his guns. And scene.
