Longtime actress on stage, film and TV. I remember her as the sheriff’s wife in Misery and as Cliff Claven’s Mom on Cheers.

Wonderful actress. Performed as "Miss Daisy" before the Jessica Tandy movie. Also had a strong role in the atypical "Outland."

Cliff Clavin's mom on Cheers, John Carter's grandma on ER. She was Must See TV. I've always greatly admired character actors, they can spend decades plugging along, tv guest shot or movie bit a year - then they reach a point in their life where they are turning down jobs. She was gifted in both comedy and drama. A real talent.

She was in the movie version of “The Mist.” It was on, like, two or three nights ago.

Cliff Clavin's mom was a great character and performance, especially for a secondary character. There was so much to her relationship with Cliff and she delivered.
