Augie was great. I covered him and the Titans when I worked on the Daily Titan in the early 1990s before he left for Illinois. A giant in his field. RIP.

Garrido guided squads to National Championships in four different decades, and is one of only three coaches in history to win five or more NCAA titles (1979, 1984, 1995, 2002, 2005).

Great trivia question there. But at least five, with Wooden, Bryant, Saban and Krzyzewski.
