So reports Jim Donovan on Cleveland's WKYC. May very well not live to see the sunrise.

Will the Browns have a moment of silence Sunday?

Release the, er, hounds?

I attended the Browns home game after the Baltimore annoucement. Without a doubt, one of the most surreal and sad experiences I've ever had at a sporting event.

I still have the placard from Mayor Michael White exhorting Clevelanders to remain calm and basically not tear the place apart.

The first line is totally tasteless ... and that's why I love this board!

I would think so, many of the Browns fans I know have already forgiven and forgot.

Re: Art Modell on his deathbed

Plain Dealer site does not allow comments on entry reporting Art Modell's grave illness: http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2012/09/former_cleveland_browns_owner.html

Fake Art Modell is finally funny: https://twitter.com/fakeartmodell

Oh my Lord! That's about 1,000 kinds of inappropriate.

But it's all also an all-time "burn in hell for laughing at this" entry if I've ever seen one. It's especially funny if you've ever spent any time at all in NE Ohio.

You travel in different circles than me. And I think a moment of silence would be a bad idea. Just as the Plain-Dealer not opening up the comments after their article was a smart idea. Most people would be respectful but there would enough boos to create an embarrassment.

I don't care how inappropriate it may be - - I'm celebrating his death. The prick.

And seriously. I've already sang the "Art Modell is dead song" on my parents answering machine because my dad didn't answer. I was on the phone with my mom when I saw the breaking news and screamed then danced in my living room.

I will buy a cake (or at least cupcakes) on my way to work. I will skip to and from my car. Call it a lack of perspective; I don't give a ****. We all have those things that matter to us, and now that he's gone, I have a lot less hate in my heart.

Also, first person who in response to that last line posts a pic of Elway will be DTM.
