Are SUNY Cortland and SUNY Lake Oswego the same?

Two different schools.

Although if you really want to have some fun, but SUNY Cortland’s and SUNY Oneonta’s teams are called the Red Dragons. They’re about an hour and a half drive from each other.

Haha I can't forget Lake Oswego! One of my fellow editors at the college newspaper was from Lake Oswego, which was about as far away from our campus as possible while still actually being in the country. You would have gotten away with your geographical ignorance if not for him!

I think Cal grad Gale Gilbert was on three or four Super Bowl teams with the Bills but I am not sure if he ever played. Maybe in the Rose Bowl blowout.

The best of Golden Bears may have been the late Joe Roth.

There was a pretty well-known joke in Oregon in the late 80s, early 90s about the snooty suburb of LO that went:

"What do you call a Black resident of Lake Oswego? A Trailblazer."

I'm pretty sure our LO native dropped that joke upon us! Which is doubly funny b/c he was as uppity and snotty as it got. We were really tight for a semester or so but then my modest northeastern suburban bonafides became too much for him.
