Rashida Jones' show indeed did get picked up - but won't air, supposedly, until the spring (the show is not listed on Fox's schedule except for being a TBA). So that possibly leaves some hope for a few appearances next season, at least early on ...?

I remain the only one in the world hoping that Jim stays with Karen. It's a losing battle I know.

I hope he stays with her as well... I get the sense she could probably do both series since it's not like she's a focal point on The Office.

Considering how hard it is for shows to get picked up these days or get canceled after a few episodes, she'd be crazy to leave a hit show...

(From USA Today): Fischer's publicist tells me the Office star "fractured her lower back in four places" in New York Monday after falling down some marble stairs in high heels. Her pal and co-star Angela Kinsey "has been with her the whole time" and her husband, filmmaker/actor James Gunn, has flown to be with her.

He added, "She is expected to make a full recovery and will not miss any time on The Office."
