I had a lazy eye and wore a patch during my younger years.
Hey, so did I. And I'm still legally blind in one eye.

Same here. Hell, I may be legally blind in both.

I'm near-sighted, and my doctor acts like it's a big deal that my eyes are still getting worse. He said the decline in near-sighted vision usually tapers off by the age of 25.

It's getting very pricey ... and who's going to pay?

Considering that I have received only one check in almost 10 years for about $100 in royalties, I'm pretty sure I'm off the hook here.

I was called "Sailor" during eighth grade at a new school because I put my hand above my eyes to avoid squinting on the first day of P.E.

I don't know why but that amues the hell out of me.

I read trivial pursuit cards in the bathroom - well the downstairs bathroom. I have Uncle John's Bathroom readers in our other bathrooms.

I'm afraid of heights.

What?
Isn't one of the two of us a helicopter pilot?

Yeah, I know. Pretty sad, huh?

But it's not a fear of flying heights. It's a fear of ladder and roof heights that. But today I realized how tall a Black Hawk is, and how much crawling around on top of it I really don't want to do.

Lame, I know.

I have never spent more than $25 on tennis shoes for myself. And in a related story, 21 just threw a stilleto through a wall and doesn't know why

I am terrified of tall, long bridges with the big metal structures and am unable to drive over them. I have to lay down in the back seat.
