Sure this has been done before but I'm in too lazy a mood to look it up.

Do you own pets? And if so, what kind? How many? Their names and why?

Little Man and I have three cats -- Homer (a girl...but Little Man named her Homer because he loves the Simpsons), Fuzz (named after a long lost but beloved cat) and Sampson (my ex named him).

I used to be a dog man...because Ruthie always had dogs. But my second ex was a cat woman and I was too whipped to argue.

Actually, I kinda prefer cats now. Not as much work and they're cool. They don't hassle me when I'm tired.

Cats are the best. For one thing, you never have to worry about taking them out for a walk or to ****. And their loyalty is pure, unlike dogs, who are trained to never live without you.

Me and my little horse ...

Shep is a 97-pound maremma sheepdog and the most amazing creature I have ever encountered. A bad day at the office is changed when I see his face.

Flash...that picture...the background and the dog....and you....

Wow.

Wow.

Thank you ... when Shep and I came together, I knew I'd finally found the love of my life (and he's not trained to live without me, he's trained to accompany and protect me, his breed can turn feral and tear apart a coyote in a heartbeat).

As for the background, those are the majestic Rockies. As breathtaking a site as one could ever behold on some days ...

Two cats, both stray kittens which turned up at my door about two years apart.

I had to work the second one out of the space between my fan belt and battery one cold morning. If I hadn't heard her yowling, she'd have been diced meat.

Thank you. And he has, by all accounts, an even sweeter heart than I do.

Jones is gonna be mad again.

Oh, wait, nevermind.

Yes, I said background.

Once I can save up some money, I'm going to adopt a Puggle from a shelter and name it Mr. Muggles. I had the name idea before Heroes. They stole it from me.

My good friend, who lives in Texas now, has a Shih Tzu named Meow.

Congrats. That made me literally laugh out loud.

I'm completely jealous of the name. I would love a dog named Meow.

And I'd love to name my next cat Phideaux.

I actually did name an inbred kitten of mine (from many years ago) Typo. Perfect for a journalist.

I think the spelling of it is what would truly make it a good one.

These are ours. The little one is my daughter's, who can be a little rough on the cat at times but they are inseperable anyway.

My daughter gave her the same name we were planning to give a second daughter in case we were to ever have one ... now we have to think of another name in case it's a girl.

The big cat is the laziest, but sweetest, piece of cat-food-eating **** on the earth.

Alley, both the Little Man and Sampson are adorable.

I have many cats in my life. Three from my previous marriage, Cosmo, Penny & JarJar. JarJar was named before I saw Episode 1 & realized he's an annoying prick. Penny was named for Lil' Penny & Cosmo from the Seinfeld character. Cosmo is the most amazing pet I've ever had. Thankfully I still get to visit him almost daily.

I currently live with four cats, Monty, Mookie, Poe & Bandit. Monty is short for Montecore, the tiger who swiped Roy, Mookie for Mookie Wilson (even though she's a girl), Poe for Edgar Allen Poe (all black female) & Bandit already had a name when we adopted him from the Humane Society.

I love them all like family.
