He still dead?
He’s still crossed off.
He still dead?
Long story short, I didn't catch up to the 9/11 story until the next morning. Great googly moogly, etc. ...I happened to be out that night and when I got home, the big news was a police raid on the drug house a few doors down. Some kids I knew were there. I didn’t catch onto the OJ thing until a day or two later.
Obligatory sidejack: How many of us still have a landline?
Not me. I dumped it 12 years ago after inheriting a house. ... How about you?

We had one until three years ago, when we moved into this house. The previous owners had gotten rid of the landline (this house was built in 1954) and we saw no reason to bring it back.Obligatory sidejack: How many of us still have a landline?

Occasionally I will still glance at where the answering machine used to be out of habit, but my landline went bye-bye about 10 years ago.We had one until three years ago, when we moved into this house. That being said, there still are occasions when I come home after being gone for most of the day and I briefly think about checking the answering machine …

Our former landline phone has a proud place in our home as a wall unit decoration.

Wife saw it at a bookstore and bought it.

Holy ****, now I gotta pony up for a landline again.I pay for a landline because it's cheaper to bundle my phone/cable/Internet but I don't have a phone plugged into it. I had a landline phone at the previous house and the only time I used it was to call my cellphone if I couldn't find it.
