OJ killed them. But I also have never questioned that Fuhrman planted the glove.

I never heard before that the triggering event was Paula Barbieri dumping OJ for not taking her to the recital that night. She realized OJ wasn't over Brown and never would be. Still amazes me that OJ was acquitted as payback for the King cops getting acquitted.

That is not why OJ was acquitted.

That is an entirely different argument.

He was acquitted because Black people in LA had endured decades of a wildly racist LAPD and judicial system, and the involvement of Mark Fuhrman gave the jurors all they needed to say nope, don’t trust you.

To suggest it was simply payback for Rodney King is to ignore the entire history of Los Angeles.

I’ll admit to bias here, because my father was a judge but…

The judicial system worked. The cops screwed up. The prosecutors screwed up. I don’t remember for sure anymore but I think the coroner’s office may have screwed up. When that happens, you are NOT supposed to reward them with a conviction.
