Because, as we all know, ratings are the sole indicator of quality programming.

Sincerely, Fear Factor, Jersey Shore, and I Love New York.

FAM I think is ABCFamily.

SPK would be Spike.

SYFY would be the Sci-Fi Network.

Tru is Tru-TV (previously Court TV)

HGTV is the Home/Garden Network.

I'm not sure about NAN.

With the rating it's getting, and since I don't see NICK up there, I'm wondering if it's Nickelodeon. Nick Jr. is at the bottom of the list.

When all the geezers watching O'Reilly start dying off, he's in trouble.

How many of his viewers are just tuning in hoping to see his next meltdown?

That makes sense.

Not sure what TBSC is either.

I tuned in to Olbermann on Tuesday and Wednesday nights to enjoy the meltdown, and I wasn't disappointed. On the negative side, I doubled his ratings.

I would think TBS. The C, I have no idea why that is there.

I'm one of the Olbermann viewers usually. But I did enjoy Jon Stewart's mini takedown of him on the Daily Show last night.

I'm curious if anyone else has the same thoughts here: I was a bit surprised to see USA at the top, but they do have some pretty darn good original series programming now so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's just that I remember thinking a few years ago about how originally it was one of the really big cable networks in cable's infancy.

Then again, as a sports guy, I thought it was an early cable titan because it was the first to have MLB and NBA games back in the early 80s (well before ESPN had either). Once USA gave up being any kind of a sports network I stopped watching.

But in the last few years they've won me over with shows like Monk, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice and (one of my current favorites) White Collar. In fact, when it comes to my favorite dramas, they all seem to be on USA, TNT or FX. I do not watch a current one-hour drama on any of the networks with the exceptions of 24
on Fox and Chuck on NBC. And I don't really consider Chuck to be a drama so much as an hour-long comedy.

Speaking of USA, anyone else watch White Collar? Love that show. It just returned this past Tuesday after leaving with a cliffhanger in December.

*rim shot*

I liked Olbermann a lot better when he was doing sports. For allegedly being so insignificant, he sure has had the ability to get under O'Reilly's skin over the years. Some time back, O'Reilly threatened to sic "Fox Security" - whatever that is - on some caller who dared mention Keith's name.

I suspect at least some of O'Reilly's viewers turn him on looking for a car crash.

Why watch a car crash when you can watch a bus wreck every night on MSNBC.

So what's that make Larry King? An airline wreck?

Olbermann was great when he had a sense of humor. Now he's as unwatchable as any other of the cable screamers. They're all like political TV Mad Libs, when you would play with a kid that gave you the same responses every time.

(Name of president) is an (adjective) because he (verb, past tense) (noun) today, thus (verb ending in -ing) the (noun) of (nation).
