Man does what I've only dreamed of these many years ...

That's taking things a tad too far. A simple verbal assault would have sufficed.

I know the girl who dates that guy. He's a douchebag of the highest order. You really don't want him to be your hero.

He may be a douchebag but he did something I've dreamed of for ages - not just as an audience member but as a performer.

I have visualized myself doing this at a movie theater. The last time I had to tell someone to put the phone away was at 42, and she actually did it.

I don't think he's a hero. You can't just take someone's possession. It's up to management to enforce its policies.

When they outlaw cell phones in theaters, only outlaws have cell phones in theaters.

It's long past time for the good people to defend themselves.

Not by taking someone's possession. So we're to go and puncture the tires of someone illegally in a handicapped space? Punch the mouth of someone who's talking loudly on a train? Sometimes, implications need to be thought through

Nope. On this issue and this issue alone, I am a proud vigilante. In the immortal words of Al Davis, I'd rather be right than be consistent.

Puncturing someone's tires for parking in a handicap zone is going a bit too far.

Just pour some sugar in the gas tank.

He shows signs of not being a good man and a better person. What a drip. :D

I'm in favor of all these reactions.

Good for you, I can agree with this. Ran into a similar situation trying to convince a family member not to keep loaded, unlocked weapons in his home.
