I used to watch a lot of MTV, but now I couldn't even tell you where it is on my channel guide.
As far as I know, you only burned this one.Bubbler said:Ronnie "Z-Man" Barzell said:I looked it up on Wikipedia, I never really watched the Go-Bots anyway. I don't think there's anything left of that teddy bear to burn, but thanks for bringing up one of the most traumatic experiences of my childhood, jerkass! :DBubbler said:Ronnie "Z-Man" Barzell said:The Go-Bots cartoon didn't debut until '84, jerkass :DBubbler said:Ronnie "Z-Man" Barzell said:I saw this on an other board, the commercial for the Neil Young and the Shocking Pinks contest cracked me up the most. Also, I never realized at the time how boring Mark Goodman was.
That's because you were five ****ing years old in '83!
Time for the big people to watch MTV, you go watch GoBots or something. :D
Christ. I'm sitting here trying to watch Human League and you're throwing GoBots' debut dates at me? Did you really write that? You documented on a major national message board that you possess that knowledge?
Don't make me burn your teddy bear on the stove burner, nerdboy. It might be 25 years later, but I still think his ass isn't crispy enough. :D
SJ should know that the aforementioned bear, Michael, was the bomb. He wasn't as cool as Archie the Armadillo or my bear, Abercrombie, but cool nonetheless.
I fully admit I was a total **** for burning his bear's ass and that I scarred Z-Man for life. I had issues as a misbegoten youth. Didn't I burn a couple of G.I. Joe's you had taken out of circulation?

Hey. I was at that show too. We went from Pensacola on some radio-station bus.

I went back in time and saved us all.Bubbler said:How weird. Based on the video, this aired the first week of November 1983 (more on that in a separate thread).
Men At Work's It's A Mistake is among the videos shown ... and unbeknownst to us ... the Soviets damn near did mistakenly blow us to kingdom come in early November 1983. Colin Hay -- new wave Nostradamist!
Inky_Wretch said:Miss the original VJs? Wish MTV still showed videos? Then I've got the link for you.
Three hours of MTV from 1983 including videos, commercials and Mark Goodman ...
