I apologize if this thread has already been created. I've looked around and could not find anything.

I was wondering if there were a few members here at SJ that were participating in Movember. I've decided to do it again this year, last year I only did it for two weeks and it was pretty thick. I'm looking forward in letting it grow for a full month.

I shaved this morning.

Do I have any "Mo Bros" ;) out there?

I have a couple of friends (2) who announced via FB today. I had no clue.

It's for a great cause, which is the main reason I do it.

Did it last year, and succeeded in looking creepy. It was not a good look.

Creepy works for you.

Why not just engage in manscaping? It's closer to the cause, so to speak.

I fully support the cause, but I'm not shaving my beard to participate.

One day, it would be nice if prostate cancer got the same attention as breast cancer.

This.

But it is never gonna happen.

I had never heard of it either until I saw a friend's mention of it on Facebook today.

I shaved the mustache and goatee last night. I'll try to just grow the mustache back, but I get bored really easily, so no promises.

I'm not collecting pledges, though. If I last the full month, I'll give my Dad 50 bucks or something. He has prostate cancer, and I'd rather see him spend it on beer than donate it to a charity that'll give more of it to marketing and administration than to research.
