This buffoon threw a fit over newroom layoffs in January, tried to be a big martyr and resigned, then came back 2 days later.

This is his latest:

Wow. I liked the pencil/pen toss.

I loved his smart-ass intro after the commercial break.

This dude's in Hawaii. You'd think he'd be a little more mellow.

Perhaps he needs a lei. Or a lay.

Hey, Luggie, if anyone in your shop ever pulled that crap, is their desk empty the next day?

Exactly.
If you are professional, you deal with it.
This guy needs a diaper change.

I can tell you my assistant news director watched the video, laughed his ass off, and said he would have fired the guy before they came back from that commercial break.

I understand his frustration, though - from everything I've heard, those automated systems are an absolute nightmare.

I've been to Hawaii a couple times this year and happened to catch this dude doing the news one night. He's a bit of a character.. He rambled on for a few minutes about the 24 episode that was on that particular night and this was at the start of the newscast.

If you close your eyes when you listen to the clip, you'll swear it's Bill O'Reilly.

This isn't the one I saw but here's a sample of his chats about 24...

That's hilarious.

The TV station lets him do his own BLOG before the newscast. ???

Well, I guess it beats "if it bleeds, it leads".

Good stuff, Webby.

I thought it was about DJ Stuey, who has spent the first couple minutes of SC tslking about "Woody" and "T-Woody"

If we're talking about 'most annoying' and doesn't include ESPN anchors (too easy), the discussion begins and ends with
ol' George Michael with Ch. 4 in DC

My immediate reaction: BULL****. No way!

Then you get the YouTube proof. I cannot believe he's allowed to do that -- Oahu or not. Goodness.

I thought the "24" ramblings were awesome. Local news doesn't have to be 100 percent, deadly serious all the time. I would totally watch that guy.

It's local television news. Nobody's watching except for old people who don't remember who they are and need someone to wipe up their drool.
