Joe Saunders, the only VaTech alum currently in the majors, wearing his Hokies cap on the mound tonight in Anaheim. Very touching.

Also drew a VT logo in the dirt behind the rubber and has a note on his spikes.

Not sure if you noticed but the Red Sox had the Virginia Tech logo on both their jerseys and hats tonight. It was done at the suggestion of Jason Varitek.

It would be nice if the players all donated those shirts and hats to be auctioned off to help the victims' families.

****ing Joe Torre. Why did you pinch-run for Giambi in a close game? I could understand if Giambi was on second, but he was on first. Thanks to that great decision Kevin Thompson bats in the ninth representing the winning run.
Also, why the **** was Luis Vizcaino pitching for the second night in a row after allowing four runs yesterday?
****, I hate this team when all of its starters are on the DL.

And the replacements still constitute a payroll more than 90 percent of the teams in the majors.

I mean... that really WASN'T a woe-is-me disclaimer at the end, was it?

That was a "goddammit I am really ****ing pissed off right now" disclaimer at the end.

Uh, Angola, you forgot the reason the Yankees lost:

THE GREATEST ****ING RELIEVER WHO EVER LIVED SPIT IT UP AGAIN!

The Phillies suck, theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Phillies suck. That is all.

Biggio salami in top of the 9th.

Prince 3-run HR off Lidge in the bottom. Then an Estrada double.

Lidge is pulled.

Don't they have to cut him?

I am aware Rivera didn't pitch well, he hasn't looked good all season, but it doesn't help when he has to come in with one out and runners on the corners because Torre has never known how to manage a bullpen.

A) Prince 3-run homer? Good for the DraftDodgers.

B) Just start calling Lidge "Lidgenfuer."

I've always called him Garblidge.

What kind of a world are we living in where A-Rod is going bonkers and Rivera is folding under pressure? So weird.
