So my sister was in Milwaukee all week and she flew in last night and brought back goodies.
Because I'm a newspaper nerd, she had that day's editions of the Journal-Sentinel and the Chicago Trib, Plus, and more importantly, cheese curds. Oh, and the Milwaukee version of the Onion and a big pack of sausage.
Last night, I sat on my couch, ate cheese curds and read a paper from a 1,000 miles away.
With it being unseasonably cool in my southern berg, it felt like being in the midwest.
The J-S was a pretty good read and it looked good as well.
Lots of crappy Brewer coverage, but whatcha going to do?
I'm a little surprised that they didn't slap a picture of the Pultizer they won for local reporting, instead of just dropping in the Pulitzer line in the flag.
If anyone lives in Milwaukee and wants to send me more cheese curds, feel free.

I didn't think cheese curds traveled well...I mean, across state lines. I know they don't travel well once eaten.

I've never had any problems, but then again, I think my blood is a dairy product after all these years.

No chili and agreed on not traveling well after eaten.
Wowsers.
Yet I will eat more when I get home. The price I pay for delicious, delicious cheese.
