Mickey Furfari honored

Meant to post this other day and got sidetracked.

Longtime WVU beat writer Mickey Furfari was honored by the Gov. recently.
Mickey has covered WVU athletics for more than 60 years. He is as humble as they come.
His daughters had to trick him into coming to accept the award and he had to be prodded into giving his speech.
The addage about sportswriters being the story tellers and not the story is epitomized by Mickey Furfari.
Congrats Mickey! Well deserved.
