ESPN sounded somber when it broke the news ... like it was a sad, sad day.

I know Baton Rouge is really serious about American football, but if any area can put sports in proper perspective, it should be natives of the Bayou.

Saints are gonna go ahead and play Sunday, but BR got the worse of the storm.

My buddies in BR said was a mess. They had large tree limbs down in their yard and that the entire city was covered in debris.

Does it look like they'll be able to play North Texas the following Saturday?

If not, LSU is open Oct. 4 and North Texas can move its Florida Int'l game to Nov. 15 to play in October.

Just like 2005. Maybe the key to keeping Louisiana hurricane-free is to keep UNT out of Death Valley. :)
