Laundry question

A capful of Avon bubble bath works perfect for a laundry detergent substitute. Shampoo works too, just not as well.

Glad the dish soap worked out for ya - this time. ;)

FYI, I usually use liquid. Tide.

For those who have been sitting on pins and needles (I was!). It worked!!!

It doesn't have the usual Tide scent, but the clothes look clean, it looks like the powder dissolved and it rinsed fine -- no residue. Also, my clothes weren't bleached. They are happily tumbling away in the dryer right now.

Great! Now go wash your hair with Scope.

I'm still working on my first pot of coffee, Ragu. Don't make me ground you. :P :)

No need to ground me. I just found my Avon Bubble Bath. It was hidden between my mascara, panties and Fran Tarkenton throwback jersey. ;)

Okay, this thread has taken a most egregious turn.

Fist bumps? Drinking beer? We were on a roll....... :(

I once used liquid dish soap - the kind you use in the sink - in the dish washer.
Disaster.
In my defense, I was only 17 at the time and on drugs.
I did that once. Ended up with a very clean kitchen floor after cleaning up the mess.

Hat trick.

Somewhat similar to Buck, I wasn't quite 'myself' at the time. In my defense, the bottles looked very much the same, and I wasn't paying attention. The floor was carpeted. Guess you can say I shampooed it.

I know this comes as a shock to no one, but I have never worked a dishwasher. My parents never owned one until I moved out, we don't have one and any apartment that I lived in did not come equipped.
