Over the past few days, I was thinking about a friend of mine I'd met when I went to community college. She's eight years my senior and had a 4-year-old girl when I met her. I once had to house-sit for her and her husband for a few days when they lived on an Air Force base in the area. Another time, I had to prepare a meal for her then-7-year-old daughter, who subsequently taught me how to change a diaper for the new infant daughter.

I'd been wondering how she was doing and where she was. Who should put in a friend request on Facebook tonight but HER! I was considering starting a passive to semi-active search to see if she was out there somewhere. Now she's found me!
