From Dan Steinberg's DC Sports Bog:

Blind item:

Which print journalist and which television talking head nearly came to blows in the Redskins locker room after Sunday's game, at which point they were forcibly separated by another TV employee, only to later rejoin their argument, drawing stares from several players?

Fun fun fun.

Supposedly it was Les Carpenter and a local tv guy who took over for George "Sports Machine" Michael. Just another day at the office?

I love Steinberg, have made that clear many times on here. Good guy, one of the top sports "boggers" out there, miss his stuff in the paper. So let's be certain this is not a knock on him.

That passage, however, is high school bull****. Did he later name them, in which case I take it back? Or did he just toss that out there to stir up ****?

Love the bog, hate that item.

Just tossed it out to stir it up. Never named anyone. And he was there, but yes, doing simple high school taunting on this one.

Which is why I don't like it.

Wonder what the brass thinks, since it was allegedly one of their guys.

Didn't a Denver Post reporter break a hockey PR guy's nose a few years back?

Yes, and don't forget the famous Mike Klis-Tracy Ringolsby scrum in the Coors Field press box some years ago.

I was going to say... I know he got beaten up over a misguided blog entry a few months back, but Dater is one of the nicest guys in this business...
