.... but I'm not. DaughterQuant made the freshman A-team at her high school today, and like last year, I found myself agonizing over it. It's not that it means so much to me that she makes the team (even though I'm thrilled). It's that I just dread the idea of her having to deal with the "I didn't get picked!" thing.

But, hey, here's to another year of dodging that bullet!

Enjoy it. It goes by fast. Micro Jr. played what will probably be his last organized competitive soccer game two weeks ago. I will greatly miss watching him play.
