HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

Is it a bad sign that I can't remember how many seasons it is? Probably.

The show still isn't what it was, but the two-episode premiere tonight kept me entertained. And as for that last moment? You knew they had to go there and I'm glad they finally did.

I liked the end of the second episode. I haven't cared about Ted's relationship drama since the first season, and part of that is probably because I haven't had any interest whatsoever in the girls Ted's been chasing/involved with. This one I always liked.

I'm really hoping that Barney's future wife asking for Ted before their wedding is a good indicator that it is Robin.

Punchy's wedding was just meh (my question: I get Ted being invited to the wedding, as he's Best Man and all, but why on earth would Punchy invite four of his best friends to come with him? They barely know Punchy and he barely knows them.)

I'm already liking Martin Short as Marshall's boss.

I was so ready for them to bring back that last girl. It would be something if she turned out to be the mother all along.

Parts were funny, even to her, the girl who doesn't pay close attention but I enjoyed both episodes. Lots of funny lines. And it looked like Barney had a duckie tie on when Marshall was rolling at the casino.

I think the show would be vastly improved if they killed Ted off, preferrably in a manner more violent than what happened to Charlie Harper.

They could re-name the show, "Who cares how he met your mother, he's dead now and here's Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin."

I see your point. Ted is the worst character on the show. That wasn't always the case, but he has become less and less likeable over the years.

I thought all of the times Ted was best man was for college friends. Since Ted went to college with Marshall and Lily, they must also know those guys. But, to your point, it doesn't explain Barney and Robin being there, unless they've all gotten together previously and become acquaintances.

When I was drinking like that I didn't get many hangovers thanks to a high tolerance.

How does one play Edward 40hands by oneself? Once you've duct taped a 40 to one hand, how can you possibly duct tape the other? Unless McPoyle had his wife (or kids) set him up for solo Edward 40hands. Really, I was concerned about that plot hole.
