Was listening to Laura Branigan's
How Am I Supposed to Live Without You " and never realized it was about someone who was as we used to say "hanging around " as friends hoping for love to spark.

I've never tried to explain it to my two boys and my mom never did as well.

I guess you just figure it out. I was a late bloomer, didn't have my first GF until I was 20, then had a handful that lasted around 1 yr each then at 32 met the woman of my dreams. Three weeks after I literally met her on the phone I proposed. That summer we married and it's 29+ yrs later and still love her more today than yesterday (Ambrosia!)

My oldest has been in a relationship now for 4.5 yrs and I just let him be but tell him I'm here if you want to talk although he knows his parents' story so what do we have to share?

IMHO, I can't explain Love, I just know I can count on her for anything every minute of every day .
