'Heathers' sequel? How will SJ.com handle it?

I never thought a Clerks sequel would sound good ... until I saw the commercial for it. I'm open to Heathers, the sequel. Why not?

Of course, the world is REALLY waiting for "Betelgeuse Returns."

Keaton, Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin are doing little enough these days, and Jeffery Jones will be free as soon as Deadwood wraps (if he can stay off the Internet).

Hey, Baldwin is on one of those behind-the-scenes-of-SNL shows this fall on NBC. Don't badmouth him!! :D

Another Beetlegeuse movie would rock. I think Jeffery Jones would be passed over, though.

I agree about the Clerks sequel. I thought it sounded horrible until I saw the preview... Then again, I trust Kevin Smith more than I do a desperate Winona Ryder, who is looking for a payday...

Um ... not to go all, uh, nevermind .... but isn't it "Beetle Juice"? ... Isn't Beetlegeuse a star or something?

The movie: Beetlejuice.

The character: Betelgeuse.

The star 427 light-years from Earth: Betelgeuse (in the original Arabic, it's pronounced yad al-jauza, but was mistranslated into Latin during the Middle Ages) or Alpha Orionis.

I don't know if it belongs on this thread of the one line from a song thread, but I'm no hearing "Shake, shake, shake shamora, shake your party line," (or whatever those lyrics are) in my head.

Coffeeman is right. He's referred to in the movie as Betelgeuse. Perhaps the studio made them change the name of the movie.

Speaking of Jeffrey Jones, if we're going to do a "Heathers" sequel, why not do a "Ferris Bueller" one as well?

C'mon, who wouldn't want to see "Ferris Bueller's Day Off Work" ?

The day after this thread appeared, I saw an episode of NCIS with the guy who played Ram... I laughed my ass off...
